Processing & Thermal Stabilizers
- BNX® 1035
It is widely used for the process stabilization of polyethylene wire and cable resin applications, eliminating the concern over micro-contaminants that can affect the insulation properties of the wire, and it also prevents premature gel formation of chemically cross-linked polyethylene during extrusion compounding.
- BNX® 1037
It is a high performance, multifunctional antioxidant developed for the stabilization of hot melt adhesives based on unsaturated copolymers (SIS, SBS, SBR, etc.). This product is also suitable for the stabilization of solvent-based adhesives, water-based adhesives, unsaturated block copolymers and polyurethanes.
- BNX® 1098
It is especially suited for the long-term thermal and process stabilization of polyamide (nylon) molded parts, fibers, and films. It is also recommended for use in other polymers such as polyacetals, polyester elastomers, polyurethanes and elastomers as well as other organic substrates such as adhesives and sealants.
- BNX® 1135
It is highly effective for the stabilization of polyurethanes, including spray and RIM applications, flexible and rigid foams, and TPU. In polyols it is useful as a storage stabilizer and helps to prevent scorching during foaming. Lubricant applications for which BNX 1135 is ideal include engine, turbine and compressor oils.
- BNX® 1215
BNX 1215 is a convenient blend of both a primary and secondary antioxidant. This synergistic blend addresses a broad range of stabilization needs. The relatively high phosphite content of the blend makes it ideal for use as a melt processing stabilizer in polyolefins such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polyolefin copolymers and blends, and TPO's. This product is also useful as an antioxidant and processing stabilizer for other materials as well, including adhesives, elastomers, polyurethanes, styrenic polymers, and engineering plastics.
- BNX® 1225
It is a synergistic blend of the phenolic antioxidant BNX 1010 and the phosphite Benefos 1680 in a 1:1 ratio. This blend of both a primary and secondary antioxidant provides excellent heat stability and resistance to oxidation, with good compatibility with resins and low volatility.
- BNX® 1411
It is a convenient blend of both a primary and secondary antioxidant. This synergistic blend addresses a broad range of stabilization needs. The resistance to 'gas fading' makes it ideal for use as a melt processing stabilizer in polyolefins such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polyolefin copolymers and blends, and TPO’s. It is also ideal for use in polyolefins containing inorganic fillers (talc, glass fibers, etc.).
- BNX® 1900
It is a convenient blend of both a primary and secondary antioxidant. This synergistic blend addresses a broad range of stabilization needs. It is primarily recommended for use in polyethylene and ethylene-copolymers such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers. BNX 1900 can also be used in other polymers such as engineering plastics, polycarbonates, polyesters, styrene homo- and copolymers, polyurethanes, elastomers, adhesives and other organic substrates.
- BNX® 2301
It is a non-phenolic stabilizer system that is highly effective for the melt processing stabilization of polyolefins. Due to its non-discoloring nature, it is ideal for use in color critical applications.
- BNX® 245
It is a highly effective antioxidant and process stabilizer in styrenic polymers (ABS, MBS, HIPS, and SB / SBR lattices), polyacetals, thermoplastic polyesters (especially PBT), polyamides, polyurethanes, PVC, other polymers, adhesives and sealants.
- BNX® 2777
It is a convenient blend of both a primary and secondary antioxidant. This synergistic blend addresses a broad range of stabilization needs. The resistance to 'gas fading' makes it ideal for use as a melt processing stabilizer in polyolefins such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polyolefin copolymers and blends, and TPO's. BNX 2777 is also suitable for use in linear polyesters, high impact polystyrene, ABS, PVC, EPDM, nylon, acetals, and polyurethanes.
- BNX® 358
It is a highly effective antioxidant for the stabilization of elastomers (especially EPDM and polybutadiene), polyolefins (especially in pipe and in wire & cable grades), styrenic polymers, PVC, hot melt adhesives and in lubricants.
- BNX® 549
It is particularly useful for the stabilization of plastics and elastomers derived from butadiene and other dienes, for example polybutadiene and copolymers of polybutadiene and other monomers.
- BNX® 565
It is a highly effective antioxidant for unsaturated elastomers such as polybutadiene, polyisoprene, styrene-butadiene rubber, and styrenic block copolymers such as SIS and SBS. BNX 565 is also useful for the stabilization of hot melt adhesives (especially those derived from unsaturated elastomers) and rosin ester tackifier resins.
- BNX®1076
It is a highly effective antioxidant and process stabilizer in polyolefins, including polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, and in olefin copolymers such as EVA. It also provides excellent performance in other polymers such as styrenic polymers (including PS, HIPS, ABS, and block copolymers), polycarbonate, acrylics, polyurethanes, PVC, and polyvinylidene chloride. BNX 1076 is also recommended for use in adhesives, elastomers, urethane and acrylic coatings and many other organic substrates.
- BNX® 1000
It is ideal for use in adhesives, rubber, resins, and other polymer systems. Compared to solid antioxidants, BNX 1000 provides easier blending and disperses completely, virtually eliminating the particle dispersion problems sometimes associated with conventional antioxidants in powder form. Extensive testing has proven BNX 1000 to be especially effective in the new generation of hot melt and water base adhesive systems, providing increased heat and extended oxidation resistance.
- BNX® 1010
It is a highly effective antioxidant and process stabilizer in polyolefins, including polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, and in olefin copolymers such as EVA. It also provides excellent performance in other polymers such as polyacetals, polyamides, polyesters, polyurethanes, PVC, styrenics, elastomers (such as butyl rubber, SBS, SEBS, EPM, EPDM, and other synthetic rubbers), and latex. It is also recommended for use in adhesives, natural and synthetic tackifier resins, synthetic diester fluids, oils, fats, waxes and many other organic substrates.
