Natural Mica High Chroma Gold Pigments

Industrial Grade Pigments are obtained through a complex production process, from calcination and grinding of natural mica substrate, hydrolysis and coating, to a final round of calcination.

  • After production, multiple tests are completed including particle size analysis, color matching, aqueous suspension, pH value test, oil absorption tests etc.
  • To avoid dusting, Kuncai developed a non-dust pearlescent pigment, which is a PE wax coated granule. For plastics producers, these products save time and energy because of pre-dispersion and easy machine cleaning. Moreover, the pearlescent pigments offered by Kuncai prevents the yellowing issue of finished plastic products.
