Ferrotint Colors
Ferrotint colors are made from metal iron oxides, chromium, cobalt or titanium. They are synthetic, inorganic pigments, ideal for use in cementicious applications. Ferrotint colours do not contain carbon black, organic pigments or other materials that may influence stability or light-fastness. The chemical composition of Ferrotint colours provide high resistance to ultra violet light. Ferrotint colours have high-performance characteristics, color stability and light-fastness in many applications subject to harsh environments including roof tiles, coastal defences and chlorinated pools.
