EnvironOxide
EnvironOxide Pigments are made from iron oxide recovered from abandoned mine drainage through a waste elimination process that results in clean water. They can color a wide range of products including paints and coatings, cements, plastics, paper, mulch and more.
- The pigments are lightfast and chemical resistant. BR-832 is heat stable to temperatures of 600F, while BR-833, BR-834 and BG-836 are heat stable to 300F. All have high purity and are below new 90PPM total lead limits.
- EnvironOxide® BG-836
BG-836 is a yellow Iron Oxide, lightfast and chemical resistant. This grade is well suited for wood stain applications and construction products. It can also be media milled to achieve higher Hegman requirements, such as with coatings, inks, paper, and adhesives.
- EnvironOxide® BG-838M
BG-838M is a yellow Iron Oxide with a high degree of transparency that enables it to be used in conjunction with polished metallic substrates and/or effect pigments to produce a gold effect. It is lightfast and chemical resistant, easy to disperse, achieving a 6.5+ on high speed. It can be used in coatings, inks, paper, adhesives, and construction products.
- EnvironOxide® BR-832
BR-832M is a red shade Iron Oxide that delivers a high degree of transparency. It can be used in conjunction with polished metallic substrates and/or effect pigments to produce a copper effect. It is lightfast and chemical resistant, easy to disperse, achieving a 6.5+ on high speed. It can be used in coatings, inks, paper, adhesives, and construction products.
