This year the Community Relations Committee of the Chicago Paint and Coatings Association partnered with Bright Promise Fund to host the 23rd annual “Paint a Brighter Chicago” project at Gray Elementary School.
“Paint a Brighter Chicago” is an annual event put together by members of the Chicago Paint and Coatings Association, who volunteer their time to create a better atmosphere for the students and teachers and brighten up the environment for schools in great need in the Chicago area. Bright Promise Fund is a nonprofit charitable organization aiming to strengthen and sustain partner Christian schools by generating new sources of revenue so that more families may experience and benefit from urban Christian education. The collaboration between the Association and the charitable organization, benefited Gray Elementary, one of the schools whose budgets are too tight to hire out painting and repairs.
Van Horn, Metz & Co. is a member of the Chicago Paint and Coatings Association and thanks to our colleague AJ Crofford, who volunteer hist time during this project, students and teachers enjoy a fresh new look at their school!
